twenty one pilots — Throwback Thursday Interview, Grammys Edition

Twenty one pilots recently won the Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for its song “Stressed Out.” Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun chose to accept the award in the same fashion as they usually watch the Grammys–in their underwear. Taking attention away from an awesome bow tie and bolo tie respectively, the duo won one of the three awards for which they were nominated.

Twenty one pilots lost the Record of the Year award to Adele and lost the Best Rock Performance award to David Bowie. They are clearly in good company.

Not long ago twenty one pilots was a three-piece act from Columbus, Ohio. Since its debut Vessel, relentless touring allowed the band to seep into the limelight. With its second release Blurryface,  the band was able to book tours in arenas.

Twenty one pilots has tour dates booked all around the world for 2017–arena shows and festivals.
